In the final stages of the game we discover that Yui had second thoughts. It is her ghost that watches the fireworks with Haru. This scene certainly helps to indicate that Yui is already dead by this point. Haru too, obviously never hears anything either, hence why she falls to the ground in shock.

She simply appears standing outside a short while later. We never hear the front door to the house open. When Haru goes to meet Yui at Yuri’s house and rings the doorbell, there is for a while, no answer.

With that taken into account we can conclude that it is entirely possible for Yui to have watched the fireworks with Haru, even though she most likely died several hours before. The unnamed girl is seen walking with Poro one last time as they accept what happened and say goodbye to each other. The events at the end of Yomawari: Night Alone does establish that spirits can make themselves known when needed. While we don’t know for certain the timeline of these events, it is probably safe to assume they happen in chronological order.
